Birthday week!

I have to say that I am very blessed with the many people in my life that made my birthday week so special. The kids had fun knowing it was my birthday and made me feel special as well.
On my actual b-day my mom took the kids and I out for lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant...Casa de Bandini! I got a margarita and some taquitos and I was in business......we even had some flan for dessert. Well, needless to say no one likes flan, expect for Sophia.... so we wandered over to Cold Stone for some yummy ice cream. The day was full of treats.
Kevin works late on Wednesday nights so I invited the neighborhood ladies over. We had a full house...enjoyed each other's company, wine, and margaritas. My friend, Rebecca is a baker and she had just completed a wedding cake tasting event so she brought the extras over for us to enjoy. Needless to say, we were all in 7th heaven!
Friday night I had a massage (another winnning from my newspaper contest) and a couple friends took me to the Elephant Bar for drinks and dessert. The week ended with a tennis match @ La Costa Meadows that I won from the Surf Mama contest and with a visit from the Lehtonen family who moved to Sacramento a couple years ago.
Cannot believe that summer is almost over & I am now another year older!
