Meet Chick-Fil-A's newest Raving Fan!

I wanted to enter a Facebook contest that Chick-fil-A was having. Chick-fil-A wanted you to write why YOU deserved a Raving Fan Party. I so love Chick-fil-a because of their strong Christian values, for playing Christian music in the restaurant and for keeping the Sabbath day holy. Tuesday nights are a bonus because it's Family Nights. Kids eat free and they provide a craft for the children. So the kids have fun and the parents can actually catch up on some uninterrupted conversation. I thought about it and tried to come up with something creative as to explain WHY I deserved to be the RAVING Fan.

I came up with this:
I sure hope making my own FB page....We ♥ Chick-fil-A Family Nights!...a couple years back counts! I am always raving about chick-fil-a to my friends and neighbors. I am always posting and telling friends and family when we will be there....... I have a group of neighborhood moms, MOPS friends, and the kids friends come most every Tues night! I'm also promoting out in the community on the baseball and soccer fields!
Chick-fil-A is truly the BEST and I tell people that all the time! Healthy food, good variety and an AMAZING staff make it MY pleasure to come in. I'm so happy there is one so close to us! We truly love to patronize you because you always give back to the community! We also love the Christian music that plays in the restaurant. Chick-fil-A ROCKS!!! How's that for a resume of being a RAVING FAN!?? :) PLEASE pick us! :)

A few days later, I received an e-mail from FB saying that I had won. I cannot even explain how excited I was…but the kids were even more excited to have won a free party at Chick-fil-A! We got to invite 25 of our friends. It was so difficult to choose who to invite to our special night, but we could only choose so many. So, we opted to choose our friends that regularly come with us on Chick-fil-A Family Nights with us. We had a total of 30 people and the Chick-fil-A staff truly spoiled us! We had our very own decorated tables with balloons and menus. We got to order whatever we wanted and even had a tour of the kitchen. They even took us up through the front end and we got to watch cars as they came through the drive-thru. The kids had so much fun chatting with the customers on the other side. The customers were truly enjoying it as well. One of the highlights was that we even got out very own ice-dream cone. We got to use the ice-dream machine and serve it up ourselves.
Thanks again to Chick-fil-A for being so generous to our friends and family. We are very appreciative and will always be your BIGGEST RAVING FANS!

Our CRAZY life!

Just when I thought that life could not get any crazier…it did! All is fine in the Bergeron Household, just insanely busy and crazy! School started on the 30th and the schedule is shall I say again??.... CRAZY! Marissa needs to be at school at 8:00, Joshua at 8:50 then Marissa is out at 2:10 and Joshua at 3:10. We are definitely keeping the gas companies in business….lots of driving.
Joshua has soccer practice on Thursdays and Church Choir on Wednesdays. Marissa has confirmation class but has yet to go because of her demanding homework schedule. Joshua’s soccer games are on Saturdays and Sunday is our family day. Hopefully all of this irons out soon and we’ll settle into this new routine.
Change is always difficult, but we are trying to settle in. The kids miss their old teachers and thei summer breaks of freedom.
So, with that said……we are looking forward to staying in touch with you, but if for some reason I don’t get back to you or don’t get back promptly…I greatly apologize right now. Last week Joshua reminded me had soccer practice last week…he reminded me at dinner time, the sad part was…we already had missed it. I truly need to make sure I keep on top of that calendar of mine or things like that will happen.
Til later! Love, Denise
