Well, it's definitely not me! You see my whole family has been sick on and off since Labor Day! It all started out with Joshua getting sick over Labor Day weekend. He had the stomach and intestinal flu. Then....well, dad got it! So, he took Tues off because he was sick, not so that he could be at Joshua's 1st Day of kindergarten! We were all very bummed about that. Well, Kevin got over it...then on Thurs AM Joshua spikes a fever of 102. His fever didn't break til early Sunday morning. Well, now needless to say...Sophia has the intestinal and stomach flu. She is miserable! Even though I feel for my kids being so sick, I am now so on edge for fear that Marissa and I will come down with it any moment. Sophia has no fever, but is not able to keep anything down. POOR BABY! This AM I was upstairs changing her bed for the umpteenth time and she started to cry at the bottom on the stairwell. She made every effort to get to me with her handful of blankets as she is climbing up the stairs. Poor thing is crying, and then she stops. After a few moments I went to check on her. The poor kid was asleep on the stairwell. I can only pray that she feels better soon and that the rest of uss stay healthy.

I've already got that mother of the year thing in the bag! We also battled the stomach flu last week. One night I heard Mads fussing all night, but never long enough for me to actually get up with her. That next morning when I got her up she had apparently throw up twice during the night (the evidence was all over in her crib!) It took 4 baths to get her smelling sweet again, and loads of air freshner and a candle to get her bedroom back to normal. Was that too much info? Just don't want yo to feel bad, we've all been there, done that!
Any mom who has to deal with all that is definitely mother of the year! Hope you're all feeling better by now.
